Windsor Triathlon – Fred’s next challenge

This Sunday I will be diving into the river Thames at Windsor for a 1.5km swim (most of it against the flow) this will be followed by a 40km ride around the Windsor area finishing through the Great Park and then a 10km, three lap run, around Windsor and Eton high streets. The Triathlon has been running for about 15 years now and it is one of the most popular events in the UK. (Hopefully I will avoid a puncture) I have changed both my tyres and inner tubes in an attempt to avoid the dreaded puncture.

Betty and I have been training in Devon this week went for few days and stayed in a Caravan in Croyde Bay. Sea swimming with five foot waves was good training for the Perranporth Triathlon. Jeremy and I will be taking it on in September.

I will let you know how the race went on Monday.
