Last weekend saw a few BTS riders hop on the Ferry from Lymington over to the Isle of Wight. This was followed by a 62mile lap of the isle in what can only be described as pi~* poor weather. We caught the 9.45 ferry over and the 4.15 back so with an hour or so lunch stop it was a long day. It may seem mad but it was a great ride even though the weather was bad. We stayed overnight and followed it up the next day with a 3 hour track session at the Calshot Velodrome. I have posted a link to the facility below a great place with lot going on. The velodrome has the steepest banking in the UK. This was the first time I had rode a fixed wheel bike with no brakes and it was a great fun. Betty took some video and photos which I will post later.
