Walking in the Snow at Cookham

Last week it snowed in the UK and the roads and transport links ground to a halt as usual. It was hard getting to work in the run up to Christmas but this gave the perfect excuse for Betty and I to go for a walk in the new snow. We had a drive out Cookham Dean way which is a bit of high ground above Bisham and Cookham and gives views of Cliveden and Windsor Castle in the distance. We had a short walk around the fields. I took some photos and have posted a link below. Well you might think this is all well a good but the real reason we went for the walk was because it gave us a good excuse to go for a couple of beers in the Ferry at Cookham.
