Day two 8th Aug of our Grand Tour

So here we are at Clecy. It was a short’ish 60km cycle from the Ferry at Cean. Although the Ferry docks at Ousterham which is about 10km from Cean. Today’s ride was generally flat with most of it being along the riverside of the river Orne. It is part of the “La Vélo Francette®this is a 600km cycle route from the English channel down to La Rochelle on the Atlantic west coast of France. The route is split into 5 sections and judging by today’s ride it is mostly flat and car free. Today’s ride was along a disused railway line. We called it a day in Clecy as we were both knackerd after Mondays ride to the Ferry. eventual we found a nice Campsite in a gorge alongside the river. I’m happy but I think Bettie wanted to stay in a hotel. Forecast is for rain tonight and tomorrow.

and here is day 1’s ride
